Dr. Arvinder Singh Honoured for Disability Rights in Rajasthan
In a significant recognition of his dedicated work in the field of disability rights and empowerment, Dr. Arvinder Singh honoured for disability rights at a special ceremony held in Jaipur. The honour was conferred by Prem Chand Bairwa, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, along with MLA Kailash.
Dr. Arvinder Singh is the Founder of Panacea Disability Rights Activists, the CEO of Arth Diagnostics Center, Udaipur, and a three-time world record holder. He has been consistently working towards the protection of rights, social inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities, with a strong focus on equality, dignity, and accessibility.
During the programme, speakers emphasized the need to safeguard the rights of persons with disabilities and ensure equal opportunities for them in education, employment, healthcare, and social participation. The importance of awareness, inclusive policymaking, and effective implementation of disability-related laws and government welfare schemes was highlighted.
Several key issues related to the welfare of persons with disabilities were discussed in detail, including strengthening grassroots-level support systems, enhancing coordination between authorities and civil society organizations, and creating an inclusive environment free from physical and social barriers.
